Saturday Brunch at No Mas Cantina!
My coworker and I got hungry while house hunting, and stumbled on No Mas Cantina. I've never heard of the place before, but I was ready to try something new. First steps in, I noticed all the decorations. Though there were so so many, I still enjoyed them and thought they added to the atmosphere.
The Order
The Adios + Passion Fruit Mimosa
Let me tell you something about this chorizo hash with the two eggs, salsa verde, black beans, and lil avocado! This here dish was BOMB. I did have to add some hot sauce due to the spice just not being there, but it was still delicious. My coworker ordered Huevos Divorciados [not pictured] and we both ate til we were absolutely stuffed. I'm not one to enjoy the taste of alcohol, but the passion fruit mimosa was well made.
The service..
If we weren't so hungry, we would have left as soon as we walked in. The host at the front got on a phone call as soon as she saw us walk in, and didn't pay us much mind til she got off [no, one moment and I'll be with you type thing]. When she brought us to our table, she walked away while she was still saying something. I can understand that everybody goes through things, but we felt a little brushed off by the time we actually sat down. Our server [Philamena] came with good positive energy, and they seemed to be the only one who was working service. The people who brought out our food seemed like they also didn't want to be there, and kind of tossed the food at us đ . When it got to paying our bill portion...I sent the server a tip via cashapp instead because I truly wanted them to get the full amount of the tip.

Our server and the flavor of the food saved this experience. Without them the stars possibly would have made it into 2 and down territory..
